Huge Blues Festival Coming to Las Vegas in September

Las Vegas is the home of the blues, at least for those who have lost at the tables. In September, they will add blues music to the flavor of the city.
The inaugural Big Blues Bender will be held from September 25 to 29 at the Riviera Hotel and Casino with some of the greatest names in blues (and a couple other genres) music, including B.B. King, George Thorogood and the Destroyers, the Blind Boys of Alabama, Buckwheat Zydeco, Charlie Musselwhite, Tab Benoit, Ana Popovic, Coco Montoya, Otis Taylor, Walter Trout, Tommy Castro and the Painkillers, the Holmes Brothers, Carolyn Wonderland, Guitar Shorty and many more.

Co-producer Doug Meckler said of the event "With a lineup like this on the Las Vegas strip, we want people to really enjoy a first-class experience. The Riviera was the stomping ground of the Rat Pack, so it's going to be a real treat to hear these amazing artists play in a venue as infamous as the newly re-opened Versailles room."

More information, including room packages, are available at the Big Blues Bender website.
