David Bowie Up For Album and Male Vocalist at the BRITs

The nominations have been announced for the 2014 BRITs, the British equivalent to the Grammys, with veteran David Bowie scoring nominations for Male Vocalist and Album of the Year.

Overall, Bastille and Disclosure received the most nominations with four each followed by Ellie Goulding with three. Bowie is joined by the Arctic Monkeys with two.

A win for Bowie will give him his first BRIT since being honored with the Outstanding Contribution Award eighteen years ago.
