Former Misfits Lead, Michael Graves Misses Show After Marijuana Arrest

Michael Graves, former frontman of the Misfits, was arrested on Monday while traveling to El Paso, Texas for marijuana possession. The arrest caused him to miss that night's show.
Graves was passing through a border checkpoint going into Kennedy County, Texas when police found him in possession of six ounces of marijuana. He was arrested by the Kingsville Sherriff's department, charged with a misdemeanor and released on $750 bond. He will have to return to Kennedy County to answer to the charges at a future date.

According to a press release from the artist's management, Graves hopes to be able to make up the El Paso show in the future. He is currently in the middle of his first full band tour in five years. After the trek, he will go into the studio to record his new album, War on Information, which he hopes to have out next spring.

Graves is appearing in Mesa, AZ tonight (Thursday) followed by shows in San Diego on Friday, Fresno on Saturday and Loveland, CO next Tuesday. The tour winds up on September 30 in Louisville, KY.
