Robin Gibb Back in Hospital For Further Treatment

Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees has once again checked into a hospital for further treatment of liver and colon problems which have been reported to be cancer.

The 62-year old star had only announced earlier this month that he was having “a spectacular recovery’ from the disease.

Just two weeks ago he joined The Soldiers on stage in London to perform his Bee Gees hits I’ve Got To Get A Message To You and How Deep Is Your Love. It was his first public appearance since the cancer was diagnosed.

Gibb has also been in the studio with his son RJ and recorded his first classic record The Titanic Requiem to mark the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. The album will be released next month. Robin is due to perform the piece with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London in April.

While some are characterizing this as a setback, his agent said in a statement that "Robin is at the London Clinic as part of his treatment and rehabilitation."
