Springsteen Single Coming Out Tomorrow; Album Announcement Imminent
The first single from Bruce Springsteen's upcoming album will be available tomorrow (Thursday) according to Amazon.com. We Take Care of Our Own is up on the site but there is no audio preview or price as of yet.
Rolling Stone is also reporting that the announcement of the album and a tour is imminent. Manager John Landau told the magazine that the album will be a "big-picture piece of work. It's a rock record that combines elements of both Bruce's classic sound and his Seeger Sessions experience, with new textures and styles." There is also reportedly a social element to much of the album which is being called one of his "angriest."
The album was produced by Ron Aniello (Candlebox, Jars of Clay, Patti Scialfa) with appearances by members of the E-Street Band, Tom Morello and others who have not been named as of yet.
Also coming is the announcement of Bruce's 2012 tour which will include the E-Street Band.
