Bobby Womack Nominated for MTV Video Music Award

In an awards show that rarely see any nominations for veteran artists, Bobby Womack has broken through the pack to be nominated for Breakthrough Video.  He sings on the Gorillaz track Stylo, also featuring Mos Def.

They will compete for the award against the Black Keys (Tighten Up), Coldplay (Strawberry Swing) and Dan Black (Symphonies).
