Our weekly recap of veteran artists on the current British music charts. Chart highlights:
- Forties big band master Glenn Miller moves from 12 to 8 to retain the highest selling album by a veteran artist for the second week.
- The highest debut for a veteran artist is ten spots down the chart at 18, Revolutions: The Very Best of Steve Winwood. It's Winwood's highest charting album since Roll With It hit number 4 in 1988.
- Also new this week is a new compilation for Jimi Hendrix (Fire: The Collection) at 29 and Ultimate Madness at 48.
- New on the Country Album chart is the year old Willie and the Wheel by Willie Nelson and Asleep at the Wheel. It premiers at number 4.
