Annie Lennox...Artist and a Few of Her Musical Influences
Earlier this month, the National Portrait Gallery in London exhibited and sold 139 Mystery Portrait Postcards that were created by various artists and celebrities. One of those celebrities was Annie Lennox who painted a self portrait (right). Money from the sales went to the museum's Education Fund.
Lennox also took to her MySpace page on Sunday to list some of the main female artists who influenced her over the years. It's an interesting look inside the mind and tastes of one of our most eclectic singers.
I just felt like making a list of some of the main female artists who had a massive impact on me..with one fabulous song for each one. Check them out on U tube, and get inspired!
