Cohen Donates to Wildfire Relief, Who Top Super Bowl Poll, more

Leonard Cohen, who has been touring Australia, has gotten together with his touring partner Paul Kelly, Frontier Touring Company and AEG Live U.K. to donate $133,000 to relief for the recent wildfires in the state of Victoria.

Frontier's Michael Gudinski said, "Leonard has loved his time in Australia on this tour and is shocked and deeply saddened by the news of the fires. Leonard, Paul, their touring parties and everyone at AEG Live U.K. and the Frontier Touring Company wish to extend their heartfelt sympathies to those that have suffered the loss of loved ones or their homes through this terrible tragedy."


A Rolling Stone poll names the Who as the artist people would most like to see for the halftime show at next year's Super Bowl. Coldplay, which was the artist Springsteen named, did not make the top 10.

The U.K.'s Mail Online is reporting that Bee Gee Robin Gibb is a new father. Unfortunately, the mother is not his wife but the family's housekeeper who is 26-years his junior.

Willie Nelson has opened Willie's Place in Carl's Corner, Texas, an alternative fuel truck stop with an attached theater. Nelson and Asleep at the Wheel bring their tour their on February 24 and 25 for the grand opening.
