Frankie Valli Revisting the Love Songs of the 60's

Frankie Valli will release his first album of new material in seventeen years on October 2 with Romancing the 60's. The album, which concentrates on love songs of the era, is being released by Motown Universal.

Valli, who is now 73, has seen a resurgence in popularity over the last couple of years, mainly due to the Broadway hit Jersey Boys and his roll as Rusty Millio on The Sopranos. His music from the Four Seasons days have also been used in a number of recent movies.

Working once again with Valli is long time producer and songwriter Bob Gaudio. "This is the album I've always wanted to make with Frankie," Gaudio said. "For me, this album has his best vocals to date."

Also returning are Charles Calello and Artie Schroeck, who worked in many Four Seasons sessions, as arrangers/conductors.

The track list:
  • Take Good Care of My Baby
  • My Cherie Amour
  • Spanish Harlem
